The Challenge

Due to the departure of a previous bookkeeper, the accounts for the Company had fallen behind and had basically been unprocessed for two years. The ATO was seeking numerous returns that required the accounts to be brought up to date.

 

Our Solution

Based on data from numerous sources, the accounts were brought up to date using Xero accounting software. This required two years of data to be uploaded and reconciled in Xero so that the relevant returns could be prepared and submitted by Peter Bauerhuit as a BAS agent.

At the end of the catch up period, the organisation was not only able to become compliant with the ATO, it was also in a better position to make strategic plans for the future and seek engagement with new partners such as and R&D expert to propel the organisation into its next stage of development.
