Due to the departure of a previous bookkeeper, the accounts for the Company had fallen behind and had basically been unprocessed for two years. The ATO was seeking numerous returns that required the accounts to be brought up to date.
Based on data from numerous sources, the accounts were brought up to date using Xero accounting software. This required two years of data to be uploaded and reconciled in Xero so that the relevant returns could be prepared and submitted by Peter Bauerhuit as a BAS agent.
At the end of the catch up period, the organisation was not only able to become compliant with the ATO, it was also in a better position to make strategic plans for the future and seek engagement with new partners such as and R&D expert to propel the organisation into its next stage of development.
When I was looking for a bookkeeper to take over and manage the day to day financial control for my organisation, I contacted two people based on a google search. Peter Bauerhuit responded promptly and based on my conversation with him. I decided that I "liked the cut of his jib".
The company finances had fallen behind, and the accounting side of the business was not something I enjoyed, but Peter was able to take over and put the Company accounts into a much better position with accurate bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Peter also made the time to attend meetings when I was looking to find a new tax agent who could also provide advice regarding R&D. I find that Peter is reliable, on time and provides an excellent service. I would be more than willing to recommend Peter to any other organisation seeking to outsource the accounting function.SURROUND Australia
